How Far Can It Go?
As far as you want…
Admittedly, traveling in an EV takes more forethought than jumping in your gasser and rumbling off toward LaPush. You absolutely need to think about how far you can travel given the state of charge of your battery and where along the way you’re going to stop and charge. You’ll also want to consider how much time a charge-up will take and what delightful things you can do in the meantime. (Organic bakery visit?)
Our team at PacWesty is here to help with these logistics and we know you’ll catch on fast and it’ll make your journey that much more of an… adventure. (Which is why you’re heading out in the first place – right?)
Oops, almost didn’t answer your question. The eTofino has up to 130 miles of range on a full charge and the Rivian, 314 – which will vary based on how aggressively you drive and what electric accessories you turn on while driving. So for the best range, drive mellow, like in your beloved Westy.
The eTofino and the Rivian also support DC fast charging which means when you locate one of these chargers, you can top-up in a “jiffy” (PacWesty speak for ~ 30-60 min.).
